Media Guidelines

Last updated Jan 28, 2021

Your media must be positive. There should be a clear purpose communicated in your media, and that purpose or message should be of a positive nature. If you are not sure about your media, ask the Director or an Admin.

Acceptable format is .mp4, .jpeg, .jpg. no larger than 150MB. Each campaign must contain cover media (displayed to the Network) and campaign media (shared by the Network). Be sure the size, length, and/or ratio of your media is compatible with guidelines set on the platform you select to share on. Check out best practices on the insight pages for more tips.

Submitted media must be owned by the submitting Cre8ive. Only submit media in which all copyrights required are held or have been granted to you (the Cre8ive).

All media must be community-friendly. No violent, sexually explicit, slanderous, hate media, or unverifiable political media. The Network reserves the right to deny the release of any campaign submitted that promotes.

Your media must directly promote you. Do not submit media promoting a 3rd party company, product, or service. For example, if you are a hairstylist, submit snippets that showcase your work as an artist, not your salon brand.

Child Safety
The platform is designed for those who are 18 years of age or older. Any users of the platform that are below this age must obtain parental consent to become a Member.

Spam, Scams, False Content
No one wants to spam their friends. Don’t create misleading campaigns, descriptions, hashtags, titles, or media in order to increase engagements. It’s not okay to post large amounts of untargeted, unwanted or repetitive media. If the quality of the information is questionable then it probably violates Core Values. Pay attention to the views and shares of your campaigns and be sure to post media other Members enjoy sharing.

Only upload media that you made or that you’re authorized to use. This means do not upload media you didn’t make or use media in your media that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or media made by other users, without necessary authorizations. Remember, unauthorized media will be flagged and removed from the platforms shared on without the intended promotional goals being achieved by the creating or participating Members.

Negative Behavior
Actions like predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, intimidation, invading privacy, revealing other people’s personal information, that violates federal, state, or local laws, inciting others to commit violent acts or to violate the Core Value are taken very seriously. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from the GoldCloud® Network.

Hate Media
The GoldCloud® platform is designed for positive synergy through organic promotion. We do not promote media that condones violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity, or media that incite hatred on the basis of these core characteristics.

Nudity or Sexual Media
GoldCloud® is not the place for pornography or sexually explicit media. If this describes your video, even if it’s a video of yourself, don’t post it in a GoldCloud®. If you do upload such media, your membership and GoldCloud® may be put in jeopardy of suspension or termination.

Harmful or Dangerous Media
Don’t post media that encourage others to do things that might cause them to get badly hurt, especially children. Media showing such harmful or dangerous acts will be removed and your membership and GoldCloud® may be put in jeopardy of suspension or termination.

Negative Graphic Media
Violent or gory media created with the intent to be shocking, sensational, or gratuitous should not be posted in a GoldCloud®. If posting graphic media in a news or documentary context, please be mindful to provide enough information to help people understand what’s going on in your media. This media should never be posted to encourage others to commit specific acts of violence, but instead be used to spread awareness, understanding, and positivity.

Harassment and Cyberbullying
We aim to unify Cre8ive’s by maintaining a safe space for creative and artistic expression. It’s not ok to post abusive media in a GoldCloud®. It is never okay to prohibit the promotion of other Members’ media with the aim of harassment or cyberbullying. Every Member deserves and has the right to have their media promoted and their share counted.

We do not keep your financial data on any of or servers. We also do not mine or market any personal Member data for sales to any 3rd party. If someone has posted your personal information or uploaded media of you without your consent, you can request the removal of media from our platform by emailing [email protected]. Please review our privacy policies to learn more.
